Irish Angus Producers Competition
The Irish Angus Producers have announced a return of their exciting competition for Irish secondary schools. Once again the IAAP are asking students of Agricultural Science to write a short 200 word essay on “on their understanding of Certified Irish Angus Beef. This essay can be based on the student’s understanding of the production of Irish Angus cattle, the sales and quality of Certified Irish Angus Beef or any other related element”. Four winners will be chosen and each will receive an Angus X calf to rear to slaughter. Past winners have reared their new calves on family farms or on their school grounds. The winning school will receive a trophy and the winner teacher an Apple iPad.
